I’m A Celeb’s Harry Redknapp ’embarrasses wife Sandra with cheesy comments’ in Jungle saying ‘he couldn’t bear to be apart from her’
Sandra, 71, has travelled to Australia with their granddaughter Molly to support him during his jungle stint and also 'misses him'
FORMER football boss Harry Redknapp’s wife has said she is embarrassed by his outpourings of love for her while he is in the Jungle.
Harry, 71, has repeatedly gushed about Sandra, saying that he couldn’t bear to be apart from her.
She landed in Brisbane today with granddaughter Molly to support the former Spurs boss during his jungle stint.
Sandra, also 71, said: “It has been quite hard to watch him, he just doesn’t realise that everybody is hearing him say things and talking about me, it’s quite embarrassing really.
“He doesn’t realise the public are seeing him say things, which is very nice.
"It’s very flattering after 54 years.
Sandra also said that Harry still makes her smile.
She said: “He’s always been a prankster but when he was a manager he had to behave himself so had to stop.
"It’s nice that the public get to see the real Harry.”
And she also joked about Harry’s enthusiasm to clean the camp dunny.

“He has said he doesn’t mind doing it as he has no sense of smell."
But Sandra said: “He’s never cleaned the toilet at home or the sink, so I’m really surprised to see him clean the dunny.
“I doubt he will do it at home, but it would be a good idea.”
MY NOEL IS SUCH A MUPPET, SAYS WIFE, LIZ
NOEL Edmonds’ wife Liz has said the TV presenter’s relationship with Harry Redknapp reminds her of the Muppets.
Liz, 49, gave her view on the unlikely pals as she arrived in Australia.
She said: “My favourite moments were him doing the trials with Harry.
“It’s like watching the Chuckle Brothers together or those two Muppets, the old ones in the box.”
She also said 69-year-old Noel “doesn’t look or act his age, adding: “He has got more energy than I have to be honest and that has to be admired.
“I think he’s doing really well. He is doing us proud. I can’t wait to see him. He’ll be brushing his teeth and grooming that beard — God knows what’s living in it now.”
