NOEL Edmond's wife Liz Davies has confirmed she painted his toenails so he would always remember her when he looked at his feet on I'm A Celebrity.
The former make-up artist admitted on This Morning earlier today she had forced him to have a pre-jungle pedicure.
Speaking to hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, the 69-year-old TV presenter's other half Liz, 49, was asked whether it was true she had painted his toenails so "every time he looked down he would think of you".
She replied: "Guilty as charged.
"We like to make each other laugh and when I told him he was like, 'Really?'
"But I said, 'Honestly every time you look at your toes it will make you smile and you'll think of me back home'."
Liz was also asked by Eamonn whether it was true the couple had a secret code with which to communicate with each other.
She brushed off the suggestion, and said: "Not as I'm aware. I haven't seen anything."
Of her husband's much-praised body, she said: "I'm proud of him, he does look good.
"I'm always very pleased to see him with his top off."
It comes as she expressed her concern about what critters have managed to nest in his facial hair, adding: "God knows what’s living in it now.”
Liz also said 69-year-old Noel “doesn’t look or act his age".
She added: “He has got more energy than I have to be honest and that has to be admired.
“I think he’s doing really well. He is doing us proud. I can’t wait to see him."
It came after we exclusively revealed Noel has a secret code to communicate with his wife from the I'm A Celebrity camp.
Last week Noel was left teary-eyed when a letter from his wife Liz was read out to him.
She said to him in her note: “Love is a friendship set on fire and you are my eternal flame.”
A source close to the star revealed he’s been secretly keeping in touch with Liz while on the show.
They said: “Noel said he was going to send out messages to Liz, telling her he loves her and how he’s doing. He has a secret code for that. But he didn’t explain to anyone else how he would do that.”
The pair married in 2009 after meeting in 2006 when Liz was a stand-in make-up artist on his show Deal Or No Deal.
The former Telly Addicts host is convinced his stint on I’m A Celebrity will help to mend his public reputation, which has been tarnished recently by odd and controversial comments.
A source said: “He believes this is a massive chance for him.
“Noel believes he will bring a load of positive energy and light into the camp – and will be like a spiritual guru and father figure to the other contestants.
“He also thinks he will have the opportunity to redeem himself in the eyes of the public.”
