Emily was dealt a double blow when her uncle died and she split from her ex Jack, before she was dragged into Seann's Strictly drama
EMILY Atack cried in I'm A Celebrity tonight as she admitted she's had a "difficult year year".
The Inbetweeners actress split from her boyfriend within weeks of her uncle passing away, and she was dragged into the drama surrounding Strictly love rat Seann Walsh before she entered the jungle.
Speaking to her jungle campmates she said: "I had a very difficult start to the year in more ways than one.
"Coming here I've realised that I don't need to be anything other than myself because there's 10 of you in here and not a single one of you has judged a bone in my body.
"You have made me the happiest I've been in such a long time and I thank each and every one of you."
The 28-year-old wiped more tears away when she said later: "These people just don't realise how much they've changed my life.
"Changed the way I look at things. It's been amazing for me and I'll never forget any of it."
Fans flooded her with messages of support on Twitter, and one said: "Sobbing my heart out because of emily"
Another admitted: "God I love emily Atack" and a third said: "Emily is such a genuine soul."
Emily was dealt two major blows earlier this year.
Her actor uncle Simon Barnes - who was known for playing Tinky Winky in the Teletubbies - died in January this year, and within weeks her and her ex-boyfriend Jack Vacher broke up.
The Inbetweeners star paid a heartfelt tribute to her late relative at the time of his death.
Sharing a black and white photo of the star - who passed away aged 52 years old - on her Instagram account, she wrote: "My wonderful uncle Simon Barnes has been taken away from us all so suddenly.
"The kindest and most talented man you could ever wish to meet. Loved by all who knew him and will be forever."
Not only did Emily have to deal with the tragic loss but also the heartache of splitting with her longterm boyfriend Jack.
The former couple started dating in 2012, and after five years together they parted ways.
However, her model ex still has a cute photograph of the pair together as his display picture on Twitter.
Emily also has not erased images of her and Jack from her Instagram account.
One image of the couple together, which was posted in 2016, read: "Another snap from last night, with my love."
The Sun revealed Emily went on a string of dates with Seann Walsh, 32.
The pair “clicked” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2016 and went on to enjoy a series of liaisons, meeting at pubs and hotels.
Their fling took place behind the back of comedian Seann’s girlfriend Rebecca Humphries, who ended their five-year romance after he was snapped snogging Strictly dancer Katya Jones.
