She said: "I have a body of work so I do have enough material for an album but since I've been gone, streaming has come in so I will release singles and possibly do an album sometime."
Cheryl joined Graham for a chat alongside Steve Carell, Dawn French and Creed 2 star Michael B Jordan after performing Love Made Me Do it.
Talking about the inspiration for her new single, she insisted that the track wasn't about her ex Liam Payne, who she split from in July.
Instead, she said: "It kind of pokes fun at myself. It's not about anybody."
It's been four years since Cheryl last released music and she admitted that her break from the industry helped her "refocus".
She confessed: "I needed it. You get into a routine and are on a treadmill for years and years.
"When you have a break, you have time to refocus and re-appreciate everything. It feels good."
Her comments come after Cheryl previously vowed to quit music if her comeback failed to dent the top 80.

After her single Love Made Me Do It limped in to the charts at No. 19 it nosedived to No. 48 in official chart figures — and has since moved one place to No. 47.
Streaming figures paint an even bleaker picture, showing she had slipped down to No. 110 in the daily Spotify charts.
A source told The Sun: "It's dropping down the rankings fast this week despite it being her big comeback. It could easily end up falling further by the time the final charts are unveiled on Friday."
She also palled up with Little Mix and posed for a picture with the chart-topping girl group.
The ex Girls Aloud star temporarily took Jade Thirwall's spot backstage in a photo of the group and looked right at home with the band.
"WASABI.. @littlemix So lovely to see you gorgeous girl @mabel@hitsradiouk #IManchester," she captioned the post, which also included a picture with singer Mabel."
