Nick Jonas marries US actress Priyanka Chopra in India after four month engagement
The couple celebrated with two wedding ceremonies in front of famous friends and family as they officially tied the knot
NICK Jonas has married Quantico star Priyanka Chopra in a lavish ceremony in India earlier today.
The couple – who have been engaged for four months – tied the knot in front of family and friends in both a traditional Indian ceremony and a Christian celebration.
Watched by his famous brothers Joe and Kevin, and Joe’s fiancé Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner, the couple married at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Nick’s pastor dad, Paul led the Christian ceremony, and Priyanka wore a Ralph Lauren dress.
Other famous guests included actress Elizabeth Chambers and Towie’s Jasmine Walia - but not Priyanka's best friend Meghan Markle.
Writing on Twitter, Nick said: “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures.

“And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing.
“An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi [in which the bride has traditional henna tattoos applied to her palms and arms].
“Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.”
Guests had to turn in their phones, and keep a special card on them at all times to prove they were part of the wedding party.
The couple have been dating since May last year, after attending the Met Gala together.
They’d actually been flirting over text and Twitter DM before that, but only made their relationship official after the designer Ralph Lauren invited them both to the event as his guests.
Nick bought an engagement ring in London a year after that, and proposed the day after Priyanka’s birthday in July this year, in Crete.
