Lord Alan Sugar has worn SEVEN different Rolexes over just nine episodes of this year’s Apprentice
The businessman has flashed hundreds of thousands of pounds of different Rolexes during the series – with the timepieces on display as he points at contestants to fire them
APPRENTICE fans have clocked Lord Sugar wearing seven Rolexes in nine episodes this series.
The billionaire seemed keen to flash a £20,000 Cosmograph Daytona last week as he told Tom Bunday “You’re Fired”.
The right-handed tycoon, 71, often shows off designer pieces on his left wrist while addressing candidates.
A viewer added: “It is quite striking that he does lots of stuff with his left hand.
"It’s almost like he’s been given a Rolex to advertise, although I’m sure he has enough money to buy his own.”
“Stefualkner” told watch enthusiast forum TZ-UK: “He has a Rolex every week.
"I was wondering if he was some sort of brand ambassador.”
Lord Sugar has also shown off Rolexes on Twitter where he has 5.3million followers.
Last year he wrote: “My old Daytona was stolen @Watchfinder found me the same generation.”
Next month he said: “Collected new Rolex green sub from Michael Spiers jewellers. Great service as usual.”
A user replied: “Which do you most enjoy advertising? Rolex, Samsung or who could forget ….sheesh Chigwell. Give it a rest.”
A source close to Lord Sugar said: “Alan has pulled himself up by the boot-straps through hard work.
"He has earned the right to splash out on his favourite watches.”
The BBC said it was satisfied no undue prominence was given to Lord Sugar’s watches.
