Insiders told The Sun how Holly was struggling with Noel’s attitude inside camp but he’s tried to gloss over their relationship and insisted: ‘we’re all professionals’
NOEL Edmonds has insisted he’s got no problem with Holly Willoughby after it was revealed she couldn’t stand his “chippy” attitude.
The Sun exclusively revealed how Holly was struggling with Noel on the show, two years after they clashed during an awkward interview on This Morning.
After he was voted off the hit ITV show, Noel insisted he didn’t have any hard feelings towards her.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, the 69-year-old explained: “There’s no feud with Phil and Holly.
“We’re all entitled to an opinion about certain things. We’re all professionals.”
Holly and Noel’s row started in 2016 when they clashed over Noel’s suggestion that cancer was caused by “negative energy”.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Holly and Noel do not like each other and their bad blood goes right back to the This Morning interview.
“Holly was angry with Noel at the time and thought he was callous.
“It’s no secret at all that she was shocked when he was signed for I’m a Celebrity.
“She has been very professional on the show but if you know her, you can see that she does not like him.
“She finds him patronising and feels uncomfortable around him.”
During his time on the show, Noel made a number of catty comments towards Holly.
The 37-year-old has become a firm fan favourite after she stepped in for Ant McPartlin on the show.
She endured a number of sly remarks from Noel throughout, with fans commenting on his attitude towards Holly.
