John Barrowman allowed back into the I’m A Celebrity camp after being rushed to hospital with sprained ankle following jungle fall
DOCTOR Who actor John Barrowman has been allowed back into the I’m A Celeb camp after spraining his ankle on last night’s show.
The star, 51, suffered a nasty fall as he walked down some steps in the dark in the jungle.
"He’s not a quitter and wants to see how far he can go in the competition. As well as finding it hard he’s relishing the challenge and loving getting to know new people.”
While in hospital John was on lockdown with producers making sure he wasn’t allowed to communicate with family, check his phone or watch TV.
He was given basic food because he missed a meal in camp.
Campmates are said to be delighted to have him back.
John revealed his hopes of a return to the jungle as he sent a message to his campmates.
He joked: " “I am lying here sipping champagne in a hospital with six male strippers. Continue to live jungle life as normal.
"I want to be back in there with you all soon. But please get some rest this evening. Ps I want my f***ing dinner when I get back!”
