The Iron Man star, 46, explained the newly-weds are taking their time with their living arrangements to spare the feelings of the children involved.

She told the  magazine: "We are still doing it in our own way.

"With teenage kids, you’ve got to tread lightly.

"It’s pretty intense, the teenage thing. I’ve never been a stepmother before.

"I don’t know how to do it."

The actress has two kids, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, from her marriage to Chris Martin and TV boss Brad has a son and a daughter Isabella from his 10 -year marriage to Suzanne Bukinik.

In a revealing interview with , Gwyneth said she was initially "unsure" she would get married again, after splitting from husband of 13 years, Coldplay frontman Chris in 2016.

But it was "incredible" Brad, who she first met on the set of Glee in 2014, that made her change her mind.

She told the publication: "I think that marriage is a really beautiful, noble and worthwhile institution, pursuit and endeavour.

"For a while, I thought, I don't know if I'd ever do it again.

"And then I met this incredible man, who made me think, no, this person is worth making this commitment to. I'm very much the marrying kind."
