Jack Fincham lashes out at ‘publicity loving’ ex Dani Dyer and says ‘he’s the reason they won Love Island’ after bitter split
JACK Fincham has told pals his ex Dani Dyer 'loves publicity' and said he is the reason that they won Love Island.
The Sun revealed the reality show champs had split, with sources saying that Dani, 22, dumped the 27-year-old hunk.
But Jack hit back when speaking to friends in a pub in Essex on Saturday, and was overheard slamming his ex.
When a friend suggested that Love Island couples "break up for publicity when it goes quiet", the reported that he replied: "I'm not like that though - that's her."
He was also overheard saying in a joking manner: "I won that show not her, I was the funniest one on it! Haha, I was a laugh though innit."
The star was overheard talking about their split but the context of what he said was not clear.
Jack added: "I'm not being funny yeah, but if it was on the other foot would you have done it? I said you, listen yeah, you made your decision.
"You, I’ve not said a word to no one. I’ve been posting what I normally do.
"I said,'When you’ve been and gone tomorrow, post on Instagram saying I’ve made a mistake, I’m sorry and that’s what you’re gonna be doing. I’m not getting back with you.' "
The Sun contacted a representative for Jack for comment and they said: "It's been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for Jack and it's really sad that at this time someone decides to covertly record him trying to have a quiet conversation with a friend."
The pair called time on their relationship four months after being crowned king and queen of the Love Island villa, blaming their hectic schedules.
Dani released a statement on Instagram last week, shortly after The Sun Online broke the story.
She wrote: "Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways.
"It's been an incredible six months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but we've sadly come to the realisation that it's not meant to be long term.
"We both plan to stay friends. I hope you'll all understand. Love Dani x."

Awkwardly, the pair's announcement comes the same day as a new trailer for Love Island's Christmas Reunion in which they play the happy couple sharing presents and dancing.
Throughout their four month relationship, Jack and Dani insisted they would be together forever, despite reports of arguments behind the scenes.
Shortly after they moved in together in September, Dani hinted that domestic life wasn't as blissful as Love Island fans might have hoped.
