Peter Kay’s Car Share is over for good confirms star Sian Gibson as she insists they aren’t filming any more episodes

CAR share star Sian Gibson has confirmed there will be no more episodes of the British sitcom.

The series ended earlier this year when work colleagues John Redmond [Peter Kay] and Kayleigh Kitson [Sian Gibson] finally became an item.

The comedy was meant to end after two series but fans were delighted with a couple of special episodes.

But slamming any hopes of more shows, Sian insisted: "No, there really isn’t this time… Oh... no, no there isn’t," as she chatted on yesterday's Sunday Brunch.

Continuing to convince viewers, she said: "No, it was the last one – but I just feel like I'm lying, because I was lying last time when I said it was the last one, so now I just look like a liar. But it was."

Car Share fans blew a gasket last when Kayleigh walked out on John in unhappy scenes earlier this year.

More than 100,000 signed a petition for another ending.

It resulted in two more episodes this year – including an unscripted one – resulting in them driving off together in a bus listening to music.
