Joe Sugg goes back to blonde after dying his hair to match Strictly partner Dianne Buswell

STRICTLY star Joe Sugg has gone back to his blonde roots after dying his hair red to match dance partner Dianne Buswell.

The YouTube star, 27, promised to colour his locks the bright shade if he made it to the final and stayed true to his word as he revealed his dye job on last night's It Takes Two.

But it seems his time as a redhead was short-lived as he returned to his natural hair colour as soon as he got home last night.

Sharing a clip of himself running an ice cold bath, Joe showed fans his mane was very much back to normal.

Debuting his bold new look last night, shocked host Zoe Ball exclaimed: "You did it! You are indeed a man of your word Joe."

But when Zoe asked if he liked it, Joe hesitantly replied: "It’s alright. I can’t say anything bad because obviously Dianne wouldn’t like that.”

On Sunday night's result show, Joe confirmed that he would go through with the promise.

The vlogger and his pro partner, 29, have kept fans guessing by almost smooching on the show twice but remained tight lipped about what would happen on Saturday night.

As they appeared on It Takes Two last night, Zoe said: “You teased us twice on Saturday and it didn’t go unnoticed. See exhibit A and exhibit B.”

She continued:  “Will the showdance end in a kiss? Sorry, we’re such children.”

As the crew started chanting “kiss” a coy looking Joe - who had dyed his hair to match Dianne - tried to change the subject saying: “This is very, very accurate choreography. Stopping it within an inch every time.”
