Four Weddings And A Funeral cast joined by Susanna Reid for sequel 25 years on
SUSANNA Reid has been signed up as one of the surprise stars of the Four Weddings And a Funeral sequel.
The Good Morning Britain host has joined the cast of the mini-movie, alongside Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell and Rowan Atkinson.
However, the 48-year-old is unlikely to have found the role too taxing - as she's playing a wedding guest.
Neither her boyfriend, millionaire Crystal Palace owner Steve Parish, or co-host Piers Morgan appears to been invited, with Susanna turning up alone.
The film, titled One Red Nose Day And A Wedding, will air on BBC1 in March as part of Comic Relief night.
Emma Freud, partner of the movie's writer Richard Curtis, has been sharing pictures from the set today, letting slip that Susanna had joined the cast.

One picture showed her captured in a camera's viewfinder, while another snapped her posing in front of a wedding cake, with Richard hovering in the background.
Emma wrote: "Photobombing the extra."
But while Susanna is a smiling wedding guest, she has made it very clear she never wants to be a bride herself.
The TV host told co-star Piers on Good Morning Britain last month: "I don’t want to get married. I’ve never wanted to be married.”
Emma also posted a picture of Andie planting a kiss on someone's cheek, teasing: "But who is she kissing?"
Red Nose Day supremo Richard, who wrote the 1994 box office smash, has returned, with original director Mike Newell.
Vast numbers of the original cast are coming back, among them Kristin Scott Thomas, John Hannah, James Fleet, David Haig and Sophie Thompson.
Richard, 62, explained: "We’re all definitely older, but I suspect no wiser.
"It's been really enjoyable working out what's happened to all the characters - and now they get back together for the fifth wedding. As usual, not everything will go as planned."
