David Walliams transforms into Theresa May and copies Prime Minister’s robotic dancing
The Britain's Got Talent judge has dressed up to impersonate the Prime Minister
DAVID Walliams transformed into Theresa May and copied her robotic dancing for a new magazine shoot.
The Britain's Got Talent judge dressed up as the Prime Minister for Heat magazine's Christmas issue, which is on sale Tuesday.
He told the : "Theresa May coming on to Dancing Queen at the Tory Party Conference took some balls.
"It is actually one of my favourite songs – when you hear it, you have to get up and you cannot stop dancing.
"I like the awkwardness of the image, because it’s like she’s doing dad dancing even though she’s a lady.
"I think she was trying to embrace her fun side, but I’m not sure it totally came off.
"But, you know, this time next year, she’s going to be on Strictly, so it’s a good start!”
Meanwhile, David has hinted he's quitting Britain's Got Talent.
He has been on the talent show since 2012 and revealed he only has one more year left on his contract.
David said: "I have one more year, and then my contract is up. [After that?] We shall see."
The comedian, 47, recently appeared on The X Factor, where he assisted Robbie Williams at Judges' Houses and admitted he agreed with people who didn't think he was qualified for the job.
He said: "That's absolutely right - I know nothing about music. I like to listen to pop music.
"But, having watched it avidly for years, I have always wanted to be on The X Factor.
"I don't know why. I kept thinking, 'How can I be on it?'
"I was thinking of auditioning but then thought, 'Oh, OK, I could just be a random person at Judges' Houses' but Sinitta had that role wrapped up for a long time."
"Originally I was supposed to be Simon Cowell's special friend but then he decided he wanted, like, 100 special friends at his house, even though he actually has no friends."
