KATYA Jones favourite moment of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing was her dance with Seann Walsh in which they both wore racy PVT outfits.
The professional dancer, 29, and her celebrity partner from this series donned the unique costumes the same week they were caught kissing despite both having partners.
Taking to Instagram just hours before Sunday’s season finale, Katya shared a picture from their performance and wrote: “It’s the day of the final of Strictly Come Dancing 2018. I’m so excited and happy for the finalists who are all winners already!
“It’s always a bitter sweet moment when it ends, but let’s just all enjoy the last most spectacular show of the year!!
“Here is my favourite moment of this series.”
Strictly viewers were left cringing tonight as Seann and Katya stood far apart during the final.
The couple caused a furore earlier in the series after The Sun exclusively revealed pictures of them sharing a drunken snog outside a London pub.
This was despite the fact Seann had a girlfriend and Katya is married to fellow Strictly pro Neil Jones.
Tonight, they returned with the rest of the celebrities from the series, but didn't stand anywhere near each other in the 'Clauditorium' as they watched the finalists dance.
Viewers noticed the distance between them, and took to Twitter to comment on the awkwardness.
One wrote: "Notice Seann and Katya are stood miles apart" above a gif of two people with binoculars and the words 'How Far?"
Another added: "Seann standing well away from Katya."
A third agreed, writing alongside a picture of model Chrissy Teigen looking awkward: "Seann and Katya back in the same room."
Seann and Katya managed to stay in the competition for a further three weeks after the kiss, before being voted off in week six.
The furious dancer made it clear to Seann he wasn’t amused by his on-stage jibes, and has also banned Katya from talking to him after the final.
A source said: “Neil made angry comments backstage and complained about Seann to the other pro dancers.
“He had kept a dignified silence until now but he has also had words with Katya to tell her that once this final commitment is over he doesn’t want her to see or talk to him again.
“He’s finally laid down the law and made his feeling crystal clear.”
Comedian Seann branded love rival Neil, 35, “gay” during a Kennington gig routine revealed last week by The Sun.
Documentary maker Stacey Dooley was crowned the winner of Strictly this year along with her professional partner Kevin Clifton.
Speaking to Kevin, who broke down in tears as their triumph was announced, Stacey said: "I should say something quite poignant, shouldn't I? You know how highly I think of you. I think you are the biggest gem.
"It's no surprise you have been in the final as many times as you have. It's daunting doing something you haven't done before. But he's so patient and he walks you through. You so deserve this. You so deserve this."
The professional dancer replied: "Thank you so much, not just for being so amazing and for dancing so well, but for being the most wonderful person to work with, to spend every day training with.
"You've worked so hard. You are so lovely and I think the absolute world of you."
