Strictly’s Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell leave afterparty together as glitterball winner Stacey Dooley can’t stop dancing
IT’S been a gruelling few months of rehearsals and live shows, but the Strictly stars got to let their hair down in style at the wrap party.
While winner Stacey Dooley headed straight for the dancefloor again, runners-up Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell were seen leaving the party together, further fuelling romance rumours.
After making the final, the pair – who have been linked throughout the series – gushed about how much they had loved working together before putting on an electrifying display.
Speaking in a VT about their time on the show Dianne burst into tears as she branded it “the best time of my life”.
They were later seen chatting as they left the after party with each other.
The Sun previously revealed that Dianne had split from her boyfriend Anthony Quinlan over fears she’s growing too close to Joe.
It was an exciting night after Stacey scooped the coveted Glitterball trophy alongside her dance partner Kevin Clifton.
The stars from the whole series gathered to toast the documentary maker success.
Stacey was even filmed taking to the dancefloor again, to show off her moves that won her the show.
Wearing a flowing white dress, she could be seen strutting her stuff as she was cheered on by her co-stars from the series.
Earlier in the evening she triumphed over Joe, Ashley Roberts and Faye Tozer to win the show, despite finishing bottom of the leaderboard.
Stacey looked suitably shocked as host Tess Daly called her name after she had performed three dances with her professional partner Kevin.
It is the first time that Kevin, 36, has won Strictly after being in the final on four previous occasions.
Speaking to Kevin, who broke down in tears, Stacey said: “I should say something quite poignant, shouldn’t I? You know how highly I think of you. I think you are the biggest gem.
“It’s no surprise you have been in the final as many times as you have. It’s daunting doing something you haven’t done before. But he’s so patient and he walks you through. You so deserve this. You so deserve this.”
The professional dancer replied: “Thank you so much, not just for being so amazing and for dancing so well, but for being the most wonderful person to work with, to spend every day training with.
“You’ve worked so hard. You are so lovely and I think the absolute world of you.”
Stacey and Kevin scored 114 points from the judges this evening while Ashley and Faye topped the leaderboard with 120 each. Joe got 116 points.
The couple had performed their favourite routine from the series, as well as the Foxtrot for their judges’ choice to Hi Ho Silver Lining by Jeff Beck from week four.
They also took to the floor with an incredible show dance to Land of A Thousand Dances by Wilson Pickett.
Her final dance – the paso doble – which saw her flash her knickers to gobmacked viewers.
Going into the final, Stacey had the best odds with the bookies, with YouTube star Joe, 27, close behind.
The final also saw all the celebrities from the series return and perform again, including Seann Walsh and Katya Jones, who caused uproar earlier in the season by sharing a drunken snog outside a London pub.
However Katie Piper was forced to dance with Neil Jones because her original partner – Gorka Marquez – is injured.
Meanwhile finalist Joe’s fans were left fuming after he missed out on winning the show.
His loyal followers were disappointed with the decision after spending hours voting for him, believing he had been “robbed” of the Glitterball Trophy.
