The Inbetweeners comeback – the famous four get back together to celebrate a decade since the comedy first aired
THE Inbetweeners have reunited — ten years after the smash hit comedy first aired.
James Buckley, 31, Simon Bird, 34, Joe Thomas, 35, and Blake Harrison, 33, are filming a new one-off special Fwends Reunited celebrating the milestone.
The lads, who shot to fame on the E4 sitcom that first aired in 2008, are more like family according to James, who plays the cheeky Jay Cartwright.
He said: “We are like family, and any excuse to get together we’ll take. That’s why we’re doing this show – it’s just an excuse to meet up.”
And Simon, who played geeky Will McKenzie in the show, says he’s constantly having offensive lines shouted at him in the street.
He said: “I get called briefcase w****r, which is obviously a classic. Bumder is a bit of a go-to. All the old favourites.”
The famous four will hit the screens again on New Year’s Day at 9pm.
Meanwhile, the lads' former colleague Emily Atack, 28, who isn’t taking part in the reunion show, left the Loose Women panel in stitches as she dressed up as Ruth Langsford ahead of her appearance on the chat show on Monday.
The TV personality, who finished in second place in I’m A Celebrity behind Harry Redknapp, lived up to her funny persona as she donned a cropped blonde wig, bearing a striking resemblance to the presenter, 58.
