Cheryl ‘invites ex Liam Payne to spend Christmas with her and baby son Bear’
CHERYL Tweedy has reportedly invited her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne to spend Christmas with her and their baby son Bear.
A source told Closer Magazine that 35-year-old Cheryl didn’t want Liam, 25, to feel he couldn’t be with his son on the special day.
Cheryl and Liam split for good in July after a two-and-a-half year romance.
This will be the first Christmas the pair have faced since their split and insiders alleged Cheryl wanted to make it as smooth as possible for one-year-old Bear.
A source claimed: “Cheryl doesn’t want either of them to spend Christmas apart from Bear. She thought that by inviting Liam it would bring them all together as a family.”
The same insider added: “Liam’s really grateful and hopes he can make it.”
The Sun Online has contacted Cheryl’s representatives for comment.
At the time of their split, The Sun exclusively revealed how their romance broke down shortly after Bear’s birth.
While Cheryl was at home looking after Bear, Liam was performing at festivals and concerts around the world.
Liam also missed at least 92 days of Bear’s early months, including some key milestones such as Father’s Day.
And he spent all of June on the road in the US, his longest stretch away from Cheryl and his son.
Speaking after their break-up, Liam admitted he was struggling.
