Michael Smiley is a Northern Irish comic and actor.
The Belfast native was born in 1963 and grew up in Hollywood.
He later moved to London with his wife in his 20s and started doing stand-up in 1993.
He shot to fame for his role as Tyres O'Flaherty in Channel 4's Spaced.
From then on, he was in numerous television series and movies.
As for his personal life, he is married to journalist and broadcaster Miranda Sawyer with whom he has two children.
