CHRISTINE McGuinness has said her marriage to TV star husband Paddy is “stronger than ever” following his boozy night with Nicole Appleton.

The reality TV star was left heartbroken after Paddy and All Saints star Nicole were seen “cuddling up” on a night out in London back in February.

Insiders revealed how Paddy, 45, and 30-year-old Christine held crisis talks over the state of their marriage following the snaps.

Ten months on, Christine has now said the couple, who have three children, twins Penelope and Leo, four, and two-year-old Felicity, are in a great place.

Christine told : “Paddy and I are ending the year so much stronger.

“As a family, as a marriage, as a couple, as a mum and dad, we are stronger.

“This year has been really poignant.

“I turned 30, went back to work and got that ‘me time’ back as the twins have gone to school…”

The model also said their twins’ autism diagnosis had changed their outlook on life.

She added: “It’s made Paddy and me better ­people – as well as making you think about what is important in life.”

After the pictures were revealed, Paddy said he was just good friends with Nicole and was adamant there was nothing between them.

The Sun exclusively revealed how Christine decided to give Paddy another chance.

Since then the couple have appeared more in love than ever and have worked tirelessly to help raise awareness around autism.

While Christine still appears on The Real Housewives Of Cheshire, Paddy will start filming for the new series of Top Gear in the New Year.

The Sun confirmed he was the new host of the hit BBC show, along with Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris.
