EASTENDERS will welcome new arrival Rukku Nahar when she joins the soap in 2019.

Who is Rukku Nahar?
Rukku Nahar, 22, was born in Bedford and started acting at the age of 14.
In 2014 she played Meena in Corner Shop Show before going on to play Rosa Sarwar in Casualty in 2016.
From 2016-2017 she played Selina Khan in the CBBC fantasy drama series Wolfblood.
Rukku has also been the face of Sunsilk shampoo in TV adverts.
Who will Rukku Nahar play in EastEnders?
Rukku is set to play Habiba Ahmed in EastEnders - the granddaughter of Mariam (Indira Joshi) and Arshad (Madhav Sharma).
She will be joining the soap in 2019 along with Priya Davdra who will play her on-screen sister Iqra.
Rukka said: “I’m so excited to have joined EastEnders, it’s a show I’ve grown up watching and stepping onto Albert Square is just unreal."

When was Rukku Nahar in Hollyoaks?
In 2018 Rukku starred in Hollyoaks as Asha Kaur - the girlfriend of Hunter McQueen.
Her character was written out of the soap after she went to live in Brighton with Hunter.
