Dancing on Ice 2019 pairings – find out which celebs are paired with which professionals

DANCING On Ice is back on our TV screens, with a new batch of celebs turned skating stars.

Here's a look at which professional skater they've been paired with for the 2019 series...

What are the Dancing On Ice 2019 pairings?

Here's all the celeb and pro-skater pairings for the 2019 series...

Jane Danson and Sylvain Longchambon

Corrie actress Jane Danson, 40, is paired with Sylvain Longchambon.

Jane is best known for playing Leanne Battersby in the long-running soap.

They already have something in common since Sylvain's wife Samia is Jane's friend and Coronation Street co-star - she plays Maria Connor.

In the 2017 series Sylvain was paired with Stephanie Waring - the pair were voted out in week two.

Saara Aalto and Hamish Gaman

Singer Saara Alto, 30, is paired with Hamish Gaman, 34.

Saara is no stranger to TV having reached the final of The X Factor in 2016.

She also represented Finland in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Monsters.

In 2018 Hamish was paired with Perri Shakes Drayton - they went out in week three.

James Jordan, 40, is paired with Alexandra Schauman, 38.

James previously showed off his fancy footwork on Strictly Come Dancing from 2006 until 2013.

He's also been on Celebrity Big Brother twice - in 2014 and 2017.

Alexandra is returning to the show after a break - she was last paired with Todd Carty in the 2014 All-Stars series.

Mark Little and Brianne Delcourt - OUT

Mark Little, 58, is paired with Brianne Delcourt, 37.

Mark is best known for playing Joe Mangel in Neigbours.

On joining the show he said his skating was ";pretty rickety" but that he was a "bit of a risk taker."

In 2018 Brianne was partnered with GMB's weatherman Alex Beresford - they finished fifth.

Gemma Collins and Matt Evers

Gemma Collins, 37, is paired with Matt Evers, 42.

The Towie star has also appeared on Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity MasterChef.

She also had a brief stint on I'm A Celebrity in 2014 but pulled out after 72 hours due to health reasons.

Matt is the only skater to have appeared in every series of the show, and was partnered with Candice Brown in 2018 - they were voted out first.

Ryan Sidebottom and Brandee Malto

Ryan Sidebottom, 40, is paired with Brandee Malto, 37.

The ex-England cricketer said he was "immensely excited" to be taking part in the show.

He announced he was joining the line-up on TalkSport in October, 2018.
Brandee joined the show in 2018 and was partnered with Corrie actor Antony Cotton.

Richard Blackwood and Carlotta Edwards - OUT

Richard Blackwood, 46, will be skating with Carlotta Edwards, 29.

The comedian and actor is known for playing Vincent Hubbard in EastEnders - but he left the soap in April 2018.

The Sun exclusively revealed that he'd joined the show in September and a show source said he'd be "a huge hit" with fans.

This will be Carlotta's first time on the series as she joins the show with her skater husband Alexander Demetriou.

Brian McFadden and Alex Murphy

Brian McFadden, 38,  is paired with Alex Murphy, 29.

In 2018 it was announced that the singer would not be part of a Westlife reunion.

It won't be the first time he's performed in front of judge Jason Gardiner - in 2013 he came second in ITV's dance show Stepping Out with then wife Vogue Williams.

Alex joined the series in 2018 and reached the semi finals with Love Island winner Kem Cetinay.

Wes Nelson, 23, is paired with pro skater Vanessa Bauer, 22.

Vanessa was champion skater last year and won the show with Jake Quickenden.
Wes, meanwhile, was launched to fame in the summer when he appeared on Love Island.
The hunk in trunks came in fourth place alongside girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson.

Melody Thornton, 34, is paired with Alexander Demetriou, 28.
Melody is an American singer-songwriter, dancer and TV personality, who was a member of the Pussycat Dolls.
Meanwhile, Alexander is new to Dancing on Ice.
His wife is fellow pro skater Carlotta Edwards, who skates with Richard Blackwood.

Didi Conn, 67, is paired with skating pro Lukasz Rozycki, 39.
The actress is best known for her role as Frenchie in 1978 iconic American musical romantic comedy Grease.
The couple are now in training in the USA, where Didi lives.
Lukasz returns to the show having appeared in series six with Elen Rivas and series seven with Laila Morse.

Saira Khan, 48, is paired with Mark Hanretty, 33.

Saira is well knowns a member of the Loose Women panel and she has also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.
Meanwhile, Mark, who was paired with Donna Air in 2018, is a Scottish skater who has represented the United Kingdom internationally.

When is Dancing On Ice on TV?

Dancing On Ice airs on Sundays on ITV at around 6pm.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are returning as hosts of the show.

Dancing On Ice proved a real hit with viewers since its return following a three-year break, after initially running from 2006 until 2014 and not returning until 2018.

Karen Barber will return as a head coach for the 2019 series along with judges Jayne Torvill,  Christopher Dean, Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo.
