Who is Flo Atkins, when was she on GBBO and is she starring in Christmas Bake Off?
THE Great Christmas Bake Off is almost here and will feature four show favourites that will return to the tent for a very festive special.
Among them Flo Atkins, the oldest contestant to appear in last year's series, aged 71.
Here's everything you need to know...
Who is Flo Atkins?
Flo Atkins is a retired cooking enthusiast from Merseyside.
She's the oldest contestant to ever take part in The Great British Bake Off.
According to Flo the show brought her out of a very "bad hole" after her husband Richard died from leukaemia.
The couple had been married for 48 years.
Raised alongside her 11 siblings in Huyton, Liverpool, Flo met Richard at the age of 21 while working at a sausage factory.
They soon had three young children and she enjoyed creating delicious treats for her family – something that continues to this day.
Since her time on the show came to an end, the Liverpudlian baker impressed viewers with her version of the classic 1979 hip-hop song Rapper’s Delight by The Sugarhill Gang.

When was she on GBBO?
Flo Atkins entered the competition in 2017, two years after her husband's death.
She prides herself on being a traditional baker and loves making cakes.
Flo got off to an excellent start as everyone loved her 'One in a Melon' cake, which was a cake disguised as a watermelon.
However, after a successful first week, Flo began to crumble under pressure.
Her Gin Jam Butties failed to impress while she came last in the Technical challenge for baking fortune cookies.
Is she starring in Christmas Bake Off?
Split over Christmas and New Year, the two-episode spcial will feature eight former contestants in total, with plenty of fan favourite cameos to look forward to.
Each episode will see four ex contestants (including Flo Atkins) take on a range of seasonal challenges.
Joining the bakers will be judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith , while Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding will be there to bring some Yuletide cheer to the tent.
Liam Charles, Flo Atkins, Jane Beedle and Andrew Smyth will be back to bake at Christmas, while Candice Brown, Kate Henry, Tamal Ray and Steven Carter-Bailey will be battling it out on New Year’s Day.
