Tina O’Brien’s ex Ryan Thomas is a no show at New Year’s Eve wedding surrounded by Coronation Street pals
CORONATION Street actress Tina O’Brien married her fiancé Adam Crofts on New Years Eve – but her soap star ex-boyfriend Ryan Thomas was nowhere to be seen at the celebration.
Television star Tina, who shares daughter Scarlett, eight, with Ryan, was joined by her ITV co-stars Jack P Shepherd, Lucy Fallon and Helen Worth for the secret ceremony in Manchester.
The actress tied the knot in front of a small group of close friends and family at the King Street Tavern hotel in her home town.
The city is where she first started work on Coronation Street at 16 years old alongside her on-screen mother and brother who shared her special day with.
Tina was in a relationship with former Celebrity Big Brother winner Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw on Corrie, her character’s ex-husband, from 2003 to 2009.
But Ryan did not attend the nuptials as Tina saw in the New Year with her new husband and her loved ones.
Tina was seen in Manchester on New Year's Eve as she carried a 'Mrs Crofts' bag as she arrived at a Manchester hotel.
She is said to have hired out all 40 bedrooms in the hotel and welcomed 80 guests as she said "I do."
Her fiance Adam popped the question to the mum-of-two in May 2016 after five years together.
Since then they've been putting off the big day to bring up their two children - three-year-old Beau and Ryan Thomas' daughter Scarlett.
Tina - who plays Sarah-Louise Platt - is yet to publicly confirm her new status as a married woman.
She deliberately didn't make a big fuss on social media so she could avoid the attention and be able enjoy the intimate ceremony.
But those who have made the cut have been arriving at the secret venue.
It's all been kept under wraps because Sarah has signed a magazine deal to reveal all at a later date.
Tina shares a three-year-old son called Beau with Adam.
