ALEX George was the most unlucky-in-love contestant in Love Island history - but he revealed today that he has struck gold, posting a picture of his beautiful new girlfriend Amelia Bath.
The 27-year-old NHS doctor posed alongside Amelia who, much like himself, is a posh reality TV star, having appeared in Ibiza Weekender in 2016.
Dr Alex referenced a Love Island catchphrase by writing alongside the picture: "The person I would like to couple up with is…"
Amelia is a dancer who appeared on Ibiza Weekender's sixth series for the entire run, where she was described as "the sexy one of the group".
Another contestant explained: "Amelia is very posh. One would like to say she likes a contour and she does dance."
In fact, the brunette is a trained dancer, having graduated from the London Studio Centre, which specialises in ballet, jazz and musical theatre.
Alex shocked his fellow Islanders during the Christmas reunion show when he confirmed he was no longer single.
Doing a grand announcement during the cast's weekend stay at a country retreat, he revealed: "I've got a girlfriend but you guys don't know her."
At the time, viewers thought he was taking about snowboarder Aimee Fuller, but it appears he was referring to Amelia.
And while the good doctor has 1.3 million followers, Amelia has a fair few too, with over 40,000 - Alex among them.
But while the famously red-faced doctor was being very mysterious about the identity of his new girlfriend today, fans spotted who she was straight away.
One wrote: "Its amelia from weekender 😍" while another pointed out: "Look Amelia from ibiza weekender."
Countless others quoted Alex's favourite retort: "Oh hell!"
Well, it's nice to see he's found love. Finally.
