Ant McPartlin takes dog Hurley for a walk as it’s revealed he could come face-to-face with ex Lisa Armstrong at NTAs
Ant and Lisa were previously embroiled in a bitter custody battle over Hurley the chocolate Labrador
ANT McPartlin has been spotted taking his beloved dog Hurley for a walk after it was revealed that he could come face-to-face with ex-wife Lisa Armstrong at the National Television Awards later this month.
Ant, 43, who dressed down for his stroll, had been at loggerheads with Lisa, 42, over who got custody of the pooch.
The Geordie TV favourite wrapped up warm in Wellington boots, a patterned scarf, and winter jacket.
He also wore a baseball cap as he kept Hurley entertained with a football.
The star showed off his Keepy Up skills, with the Lab - who looked thrilled to be spending some quality time with his owner.
Earlier this week it was announced that Ant has been nominated for a National Television Award alongside his co-star Declan Donnelly - despite Dec going solo for much of the year.
In 2018, Ant only joined his partner in crime for one of their multiple ITV shows; Saturday Night Takeaway.
He announced a break from the limelight to deal with personal demons after he was charged with drink driving in March - forcing Dec to present the live Britain's Got Talent shows on his own, and enlist the help of Holly Willoughby for I'm A Celeb in November.
Despite Ant's absence, the duo have been shortlisted as a pair in the Best TV Presenter category - which they have won for the past 17 years.
Ant is also going head-to-head with his ex in the Best Talent Show category, with Ant hosting nominee Britain's Got Talent and Lisa working as a make-up artist on rival Strictly Come Dancing.
The former couple split in January last year, with Lisa going on to get the axe from Britain's Got Talent to avoid any awkward behind-the-scenes encounters with her ex-husband.
Lisa and Ant's messy divorce played out in public and they were granted a decree nisi from a judge in October.

They were embroiled in a heated custody battle over their shared five-year-old Labrador.
The pooch is now transported weekly from Lisa's Chiswick home to Ant's rented London mansion by a private chauffeur, who is a long-time employee of Ant and Dec's.
During their divorce settlement, Ant was said to have told Lisa that she can have "anything she wants - except Hurley".
