Emmerdale spoilers: Cain Dingle confesses to murder, paedophile Maya Stepney exposed and Charity Dingle proposes to Vanessa

EMMERDALE has released a bombshell new trailer which sees Cain Dingle confess to murdering Joe Tate.

Debbie Dingle - who is played by actress Charley Webb in the ITV soap - is going to be horrified this week when the police visit her and tell her they have found a body they think could be Joe Tate.

And while viewers know Joe was killed by his friend Graham Foster, Debbie's dad Cain thinks he did it.

An explosive trailer for the soap has revealed the moment Cain confesses to the killing to his horrified daughter.

"Joe's dead and I killed him," Cain tells Debbie as she stares stunned with horror.

It is not the only explosive moment in the trailer as paedophile teacher Maya Stepney looks set to be exposed for her grooming and abuse of Jacob Gallagher.

Jacob has been sending Maya intimate pictures of himself as she has been busy romping with his dad David.

But that looks set to come back to haunt her when David grows suspicious of her behaviour and confronts her while she is grooming Jacob.

The trailer shows her looking terrified as David confronts her over her hiding her phone.

"I wanted to talk to you about yesterday, why you were so sensitive and like you were trying to hide something," he questioned her.

There are also happier moments in the trailer as Charity Dingle finally realises just how much she loves girlfriend Vanessa Woodfield.

And after Vanessa survives being brutally stabbed by Donny Cairn, Charity plans a huge proposal and the moment is shown in the new trailer.

Sitting in a horse-drawn carriage, Charity is tearful as she asks the vet to spend the rest of her life with.
