DANNY Dyer and his reality star daughter Dani can be seen dressing up in medieval attire for their family's upcoming programme Right Royal Family.

The EastEnders actor, 41, was delighted to discover he had royal blood while filming an episode of the BBC's Who Do You Think You Are? back in 2016.

And the television star and his girl Dani, who rose to fame on ITV2 series Love Island last summer, will learn more about their links to the royal family along with the rest of their loved ones in new show Danny Dyer's Right Royal Family.

In new pictures released by the BBC, Danny, who plays Mick Carter in telly soap 'Enders, can be seen donning old-fashioned clothing.

Danny's daughter Dani will also be seen joining in the antics ass she laughs at her father who can at one point be seen wearing an earring as part of his regal outfits.

During in scenes set to air, Danny's fans, who have already discovered he is related to King Edward III and William the Conqueror, will also learn he is descended from a saint.

In an upcoming episode, Danny will be heard saying: "I'm a direct descendant from a saint. Saint Louis IX, who was the King of France in, I think it was the 12th century, I can't remember now.

"Yeah, he was a saunt. I think there's only 2000 saints ever, and he was allowed to have children - he had 11 children, and yeah, I've got his blood knocking about, so make of that what you will."

Danny's 26th great grandfather is the French King Louis IX, who was later made Saint Louis.

On hearing the news, the star said: "It's just so much to take in. I'm related to a Saint," before adding that it was hard to believe he had blood off such importance "coursing through my veins".

Danny Dyer's Right Royal Family airs on BBC One on January 23.
