BOB Hope will be found lifeless on a park bench next week in Emmerdale.
The down on his luck businessman - who is played by actor Tony Audenshaw in the ITV soap - will be sacked from his job at The Woolpack and evicted from the B&B next week and have no choice but to sleep rough.
But the cold weather takes its toll and he is found unconscious on the bench by vicar Harriet Finch.
Harriet is left screaming for help as she struggles to wake Bob up after realising something was amiss.
Calling for an ambulance she tells the operator she can't feel a pulse before adding: "It's my friend, he's been outside perhaps all night. He's blue and he's cold."
Bob is going to face serious hardship next week when he is kicked out of the B&B by Eric Pollard after he fails to pay his bill again.
And when he tries to sleep rough in the pub's cellar he is discovered by Charity and Chas Dingle and given his marching orders after he reacts angrily to their offer of help.
He manages to borrow his ex-wife Brenda's car to sleep in but is later left without anywhere to go when she asks for the keys back, forcing him to sleep rough outside.
The freezing temperatures look set to cause serious strife for Bob, with him being left battling to survive as he has ever since giving his business to Brenda after cheating on her with Laurel.
Laurel soon realised she had made a mistake getting with Bob and dumped him, kicking him out and leaving him high and dry.
