Is Cain Dingle going to prison in Emmerdale and when will the truth about Joe Tate be revealed?
Viewers were left stunned when presumed dead Joe was revealed to be alive and well
EMMERDALE fans were left stunned when Joe Tate was revealed as being alive and well and living in Monte Carlo.
But it’s left everyone wondering if Cain will still be framed for his murder and when will the truth come out? Here’s the lowdown…
Will Cain Dingle go to prison for killing Joe Tate in Emmerdale?
Probably not now actually. Graham Foster, who has lead Cain to believe he killed Joe, will go to the police next week and tell them Joe isn’t dead.
Graham will act after being pushed too far by Home Farm owner Kim Tate, who previously instructed him to kill Joe himself.
The police then head to Butlers Farm where they share Graham’s news with a stunned Cain and his wife Moira Barton.
Up until now Cain believed he killed his daughter Debbie’s fiancé, even though it was actually Graham who – seemingly - finished off the fake millionaire.
Cain has told a fair few people that he was responsible for Joe’s death – including Debbie. The only person who knows the truth is Graham.
Viewers knew Cain didn't actually murder Joe.
He punched him after Joe returned from being driven out of the village by Graham and Kim.
Cain thought Joe had abandoned his Debbie on their wedding day and lashed out, knocking him to the ground where Joe hit his head on a rock.
Graham insisted on getting rid of the body but viewers saw his hand twitch as he was in the boot of Graham's car and while another scene hinted at Joe being killed, it was never shown on screen.
It was revealed in March 2019 that Joe was alive and well and living in Monte Carlo, aided by Graham.

When will the truth about Joe Tate be revealed?
Graham will head to the police after a bust up at Home Farm with Kim. He’ll tell them that he has news of a sighting of Joe.
The cops will then break the good news to Cain that he’s off the hook. But the fallout has only just begun. Cain will want answers from Graham about why he let him take the blame for a crime he didn’t even commit.
Cain’s relationship with his daughter Debbie has been damaged beyond repair after he confessed to her that he’d killed Joe. Debbie even had to identify a body.
It’s not yet known when Debbie will find out Joe is alive, or how she will react when she hears the news.
