EMMERDALE viewers are disgusted over Bob Hope's bitter comments to grieving Chas Dingle.
The barman - who is played by actor Tony Audenshaw in the ITV soap - was confronted about sleeping in the basement of the pub but instead of revealing he was homeless, he made a sickening comment about Chas losing her baby daughter Grace.
As Charity and Chas demanded to know why he had slept in the pub and terrified recently stabbed Vanessa, Bob raged at them.
He said: "Do you think I am that desperate that I would stoop so low as to lie about my sleeping arrangements?"
And as he was questioned about leaving his belongings in the basement, he shouted: "How do you think it got here?
"Me keeping this ship afloat while the pair of you sit there mainlining tea wallowing about your latest family drama?"
A horrified Chas answered: "Otherwise known as grieving for my daughter. That's enough Bob, get out, you're sacked."
Viewers were disgusted by Bob's comment and were glad he was fired.
He was left even more devastated when his ex-wife Brenda demanded her car keys back from him, stopping him from sleeping in it for another night.
He tried to find shelter at the church but was found by Harriet and kicked out unknowingly.
Facing a freezing night alone, Bob grabbed a grubby sleeping bag from the church and left.
Coughing he bedded down for the night in the pouring rain on a park bench where he will be found lifeless in tomorrow night's episodes.
