Vicky Pattison fans beg her to date pal Pete Wicks after she posts snap of them looking like a couple on the NTAs red carpet

VICKY Pattison's fans have urged her to date her close friend Pete Wicks after she shared a sweet snap of herself posing with him at last night's National Television Awards.

The pair looked every inch the perfect couple in the snap, with the Geordie Shore star claiming that the Towie bad boy was "prettier" than she is.

In the photo, 31-year-old Vicky looks sensational in a red, floor-length, Suzanne Neville gown, with her brunette hair tumbling down her back in loose waves.

Pete, 30, also has his trademark long hair loose around his shoulders, looking suave in his all-black suit.

Vicky captioned the post: "You are prettier than me for God's sake @p_wicks01

"THANK YOU for having me @ok_mag and @carmexuk at the @officialntas lastnight!! My dress is @suzanneneville and I loved it so much- you guys are the best!!

"I'm off to wallow in self pity now and eat carbs."

The star's followers were floored by the sweet photo, begging her to turn her platonic relationship with Pete into a romantic one.

One commented: "I know your just friends but you two look so good together."

A second said: "Why are you two not together??"

Another wrote: "You two would make a power couple."

A fourth gushed: "Why can’t you just be a couple already, you’re both gorgeous."

Vicky recently confessed that she is planning to start dating again after being left brokenhearted by her ex fiance John Noble.

The TV favourite called off her engagement in November last year when pictures emerged of John canoodling with another woman in Dubai.

Posting on Instagram earlier this month, Vicky revealed that she was back on the dating scene, sharing a meme that read: "Getting back into the dating scene is hard for me in that I have to shave my legs AND stay up past 10."

She captioned the image: "Plus it’s cold outside and I’m in a pretty serious relationship with gin.

"And I could never be disloyal #oldladyproblems."

The aftermath to Vicky's break-up was documented for her new TLC TV series and is due to premiere later this month.

In the video trailer for the show, Vicky can be seen breaking down in tears as she tries to come to terms with John's infidelity.

Vicky and John got engaged in 2017 having previously met and briefly dated eight years earlier before reuniting on a train in 2016.

In the trailer, the reality star can be seen sobbing as she says: "A week ago I was marrying him.

"A week ago, he was my future and my life."
