BARB'S TV FACE OFF

Barbra Streisand cancels Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance after host refuses to show ‘her best side’ and rearrange set

AMERICAN megastar Barbra Streisand cancelled a US TV appearance because they refused to film her from her best side.

The Hollywood icon, 76, scrapped plans to star on chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live! because bosses wouldn’t allow her to rearrange the entire set in order to focus on her desired angle.

Presenter Jimmy, 51, made the revelation about the singer during an interview on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen earlier this week.

Fellow telly host Andy Cohen, 50, asked: “If a guest wants you to swap around your set so the camera gets their best side, do you refuse? I’ve had to switch seats for Mariah Carey four times.”

Jimmy replied: “I’ve had a guest ask for that and I said no.”

To which Andy asked: “Really? Was it Streisand?

The singer prefers this angle and has demanded TV shows to alter their sets to allow her to show off her left side

Jimmy confirmed: “Yes.”

He then went on to reveal the star even tried to gag him over the fact he was asked to move the set around for her.

Jimmy added: “It was the condition. The condition was we couldn’t talk about the fact that we’d switched around and I was like, ‘I just don’t see how this will work.’”

During an interview with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show in 2014 she made the host sit in the guest chair while she took the anchor’s seat.

The megastar made sure that things were switched round for her appearance on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden
