Emmerdale spoilers: Cain Dingle arrested for Joe Tate’s murder again as police discover new evidence
And it comes just as things were starting to look up - sort of – for the Dales resident bad boy
IT looks like the net could be closing in on Cain Dingle as he’s arrested again in Emmerdale next week as the police continue to investigate Joe Tate’s disappearance.
Cain’s week gets off to a good(ish) start when Kerry Wyatt agrees he can have access to his son Kyle.
He even dares to hope that the investigation into Joe's case has been called off, with no body and no trace of the missing fake millionaire.
But the smile is soon wiped off of the Dales’ bad boy’s face when the cops arrive at Butlers Farm and start searching.
The police ask Cain – played by Jeff Hordley - to join them at the station and when he refuses to cooperate they arrest him again.
Back at the station, DS Saunders tells a worried Cain that they have evidence, which places him at Home Farm when Joe went missing.
Under pressure, Cain confesses that he did see Joe on the day he went missing.
The police then head over to question Graham Foster.
Will he back up Cain’s story about what went down at Home Farm when Joe disappeared?
Fans of the ITV soap know that Cain didn’t actually cause Joe’s death, despite delivering what looked like a killer punch.
Thinking Joe had ditched Debbie Dingle at the alter, protective dad Cain punched him in the face, which caused Joe to fall to the ground hitting his head on a rock on the way down.
Graham then confirmed that Joe was dead and told Cain he’d sort out the body, but viewers saw Joe’s fingers twitch as Graham packed him in the boot of his car.
Cain recently told Debbie that he’d ‘killed’ her fiancé which obviously didn’t go down well and the pair’s relationship may never recover.
