Emmerdale spoilers: Manpreet in bankruptcy horror as Jai Sharma discovers bailiffs repossessing her belongings
The GP makes a shocking confession to Jai which leaves him conflicted about telling dad Rishi
EMMERDALE newcomer Manpreet Jultla causes concern for Jai Sharma next week when he discovers his dad’s new girlfriend is absolutely broke.
Jai first becomes suspicious of the doctor when her card is declined when she tries to pay for some drinks.
Manpreet – who is dating Jai’s dad Rishi – manages to talk her way out of it.
But Jai’s suspicions are later confirmed the next day when he sees a bailiff try to repossess her car at Holdgate.
Jai is then left conflicted when Manpreet – Rebecca Sarker - begs him not to tell factory owner Rishi what he saw.
As Jai – Chris Bisson - questions Manpreet about the extent of her money problems, he realises she is in denial about how bad the situation really is.
And when she makes a shocking confession to Jai, he’s left even more torn over whether or not he should tell his dad the truth.
Manpreet arrived in Emmerdale in July 2018 and is a GP at Abbot Lane surgery.
Rishi took a shine to the doc when she covered for Dr Cavanagh.
When she revealed she had a daughter named Aisha, Rishi set Jai up on a date with himself and Manpreet as chaperones, hoping love would blossom for him.

Jai was horrified by bimbo Aisha but Manpreet and Rishi hit it off.
Manpreet recently moved into Holdgate with Rishi after hinting she was being made homeless.
With some gentle persuasion from Jai and daughter Priya, stubborn Rishi eventually asked Manpreet to move in with him.
