Emmerdale spoilers: Nicola King horrified as step-son Elliot goes missing after she is kicked out by husband Jimmy

THERE'S terror in store for Nicola and Jimmy King in Emmerdale next week as little Elliot goes missing from school.

Jimmy – played by Nick Miles in the ITV soap – is moping around after booting wife Nicola out.

He ignores his ringing phone, thinking it’s Nicola, in a move he could end up bitterly regretting.

Meanwhile Nicola – actress Nicola Wheeler - is also sulking, unable to accept responsibility for the breakdown of her marriage after her scheming with
Robert Sugden to take over Home James Haulage was uncovered by Graham Foster.

But she’s pulled out of her self-pity when she gets a phone call from school telling her that Elliot has disappeared.

Fortunately a panic-stricken Nicola finds the little lad outside on the street and questions him about running off from school.

The pair end up having a heart-to-heart and Nicola promises she’ll still be Elliot’s mum no matter what happens between her and Jimmy.

Nicola’s chat with Elliot reignites the fight in her and she heads over to see Jimmy to try and resolve things.

She’s on a mission and also heads over to the factory to claim back her old position.

But could she just be making a bad situation worse?

Elliot is Jimmy’s son with Kelly Windsor.

She arrived with Elliot in tow back in 2012 when she broke the news to Jimmy that he had a secret son.

He moved in with Jimmy and Nicola along with their daughter Angelica.

The couple even considered going for custody of the tot but eventually returned him to Kelly who took him to America.

Elliot arrived back in the village in 2016 when Kelly dumped him with her step-dad Bob Hope as she was planning to appear on a reality TV show.
