HOLLYOAKS actress Steph Davis was drinking three bottles of wine every MORNING at her lowest point before rehab.
The 25-year-old appeared on Loose Women today to talk about how she turned her life around after everything she's been through.
She explained: "I was in rehab for over eight weeks.
"People were telling me for ages and I didn't want to hear it.
"I gave up the fight. It was tiring.
"I was drinking every day at the end. Probably about three bottles of wine in the morning.
"I got told I had PTSD when I got to rehab and I was having panic attacks and anxiety with all the trauma that happened to me.
"I was using it to go to sleep because I couldn't sleep from night terrors.
"I was just in so much pain.
"I had to realise that worked for a while to block the pain, but in the end I couldn't cope without it.
"I was just skin and bones, I was broken. I didn't want to live.
"I was so suicidal, I kept trying to kill myself."
Steph said people tried to help her for a long time, but she knew she had to find the strength to save herself.
Now she says she's "done a 360" and gone back to Hollyoaks where she met her new boyfriend Owen.
He brings her flowers every week so that she's never with the dead ones.
Steph added: "It's nice to know what real love is. He is amazing.
"Everyone at Hollyoaks was really happy to have me back. They cried because I'm doing what I'm good at again."
Steph's ex boyfriend Jeremy McConnell was found guilty of battering Steph in a cocaine-fuelled row.
Reality star Steph broke down in tears as the judge convicted her former lover of assault, with her mother having recounted in court details of how Jeremy threw her around like a “rag doll” and called her a “s**g” in a violent argument over a sex toy.

It followed an incident at a property in Rainhill, Merseyside, on March 10, 2017.
A judge sentenced McConnell to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months.
He was later jailed for breaching a community order by flying to Turkey for a hair transplant.
Steph is now bringing up their son Caben-Albi alone with the support of her family.
