The 22-year-old Essex girl packed salt and pepper and a vibrator, insisting: 'I'm either hungry or horny'
SHIPWRECKED viewers were left horrified when new arrival Daisy revealed that she had brought a vibrator to the island as her luxury island.
While the confession attracted the attention of fellow islander Harry, fans of the show were less than impressed - with some accusing the 22-year-old Essex girl of "attention seeking".
Viewers flocked to Twitter to share their reactions, with one writing: "How trashy and tacky and thirsty to say your luxury item is a vibrator."
Another added: "Daisy just wanted to shock for the air time I reckon."
However, another fan was tickled, tweeting: "'So what luxury item did you bring' Daisy: 'My vibrator' - oiiiii I’m howling hahaha what!!!"
Daisy, who describes herself as a "sexual person" was one of two new arrivals to sail in on tonight's episode of the E4 show, alongside Freja, a PA from Northampton.
Daisy told her campmates that she feels she's met the "boy version" of herself in horny Harry, who has made no secret of his desire to hook-up with someone on the show.
She revealed: "I would consider myself a sexual person. I didn't choose the sexual life, the sexual life chose me. I'm here for a good time, not a long time."
London model Harry, 26, puts it somewhat differently, when he tells the camera: "She looks a bit dirty."
The old charmer later admits: "I pretty much spent the whole time staring at Daisy's a**e."
When the new arrivals are asked what they've brought as her luxury item, the campmates are left open mouthed by Daisy's answer: "My vibrator."
Harry approved of that, exclaiming: "Good girl. She can join. She can be a Tiger."
However, it seems he might not get his way as later viewers see her hatching a plan to become a mole for the Shark tribe.
Daisy explained the reasons for her luxury items - she also brought salt and pepper - explaining: "I'm either hungry or horny and I just wanted to eliminate both of those options.
"You shouldn’t be embarrassed as a young girl in this generation to have a vibrator.
"It doesn’t make you a ‘s**g’. Using one helps your mental health and your physical health.
"You’re not getting f***ed around by a boy, you’re pleasing yourself and you don’t have the stress of getting attached to someone.
"It doesn’t make you less of a women and I don’t think people should feel embarrassed by it."
Tonight is the third episode of the show - a morning telly hit for years on T4 - with rival teams the Sharks and the Tigers trying to win over new recruits.
The team that has the most members in it at the end gets to share a prize pot of £50,000.
