Tori Spelling reveals Beverly Hills 90210 reunion is happening after secret meetings with network bosses
Tori confirmed that most of the original cast will be returning for the highly-anticipated revival series
TORI Spelling has revealed a Beverley Hills 90210 reunion IS happening 19 years after the show was last on TV screens.
The actress, 45, explained how the show will merge reality with nostalgia as the returning series will mix old footage with new scenes where the star-studded cast play themselves in fictional scenarios.
Speaking on US TV show, Access, Tori revealed: "We were having coffee between meetings with networks... it's confirmed! We are doing a new 90210.
"It is the 'OG' crew back together and we are playing heightened version of ourselves.
"So, the fans will be pleasantly surprised because we will intercut that with scenes from the show, so it will be the whole ensemble cast playing a heightened version of themselves."
Beverley Hills 90210 was broadcast between 1990 and 2000 and followed a group of friends living in one of the world's most sought-after postcodes.
Tori confirmed that while the majority of the cast will be back, co-star Luke Perry will be balancing the 90210 revival with his other TV commitments.
She explained: "Luke has Riverdale, so Luke will do as many as he can do."
Tori also said it's not yet certain if Shannen Doherty will return following her battle with cancer.
