THE Voice 2019 is well underway as the contestants battle it out to win a record deal.

Who is Nikki Ambers on The Voice 2019?

Nikki Ambers née Nicole Shortland is a singer who was born on 5th March 1996 in London.

She is best known for her 2013 hit Little Nikki Says which reached number 53 in the UK singles Chart.

As well as her collaboration with Boohoo where the fashion website created the "first ever shoppable music video" as part of the promotion for the song.

Nikki first joined SoundGirl in 2010.

The girl band released the single Don't Know Why in 2011 which peaked at 45 in the UK charts.

Nikki has also featured on Maxsta's Wanna Go and co-wrote the Little Mix song Towers from their second album.

As well as DJ Fresh vs TC's track Make U Bounce.

What did Nikki Ambers sing in her Voice audition?

For the blind audition Nikki sung Post Malone's Better Now for the judges.

And judges Sir Tom Jones and Olly Murs spun round for her rendition of the hit song.

But it was ultimately Team Olly that she decided to join.

When is The Voice on ITV?

The Voice 2019 started on January 5 and continues every Saturday at 8pm on ITV.

The format of the show is that contestants take part in blind auditions and the judges spin round in their chairs if they want to mentor them.

The judges are Olly Murswill.i.amJennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones

The show is hosted by Emma Willis.

This year for the first time trios are allowed to audition as well as soloist and duets.
