The sick teacher will have an accident but will it lead to her dark secret being revealed?
TWISTED teacher Maya Stepney is set to have a nasty accident in Emmerdale as she falls and hits her head.
But does the paedophile die and will her boyfriend David Metcalfe find out about her affair with underage Jacob Gallagher? Here’s the lowdown…
Does Maya Stepney die in Emmerdale?
It’s not clear at the moment what happens but we know that Maya will panic when her schoolboy lover Jacob threatens to tell his dad David Metcalfe – Maya’s boyfriend – about their affair.
It comes after a jealous Maya tells Aaron Dingle that Jacob is alone with his little sister Liv Flaherty at the Mill cottage.
Jacob is humiliated when Aaron storms home and orders him out.
He’s even more gutted when he realised Maya stitched him up on purpose.
A furious Jacob confronts Maya and tells her he’s going to spill the beans to David.
Maya decides she needs to flee the village if her sick secret comes out.
But while she’s packing, she falls and hits her head.
There’s been no official confirmation that actress Louisa Clein is leaving her role as the perverted teacher, but we all know how Emmerdale likes to spring surprises on the viewers.

Does David Metcalfe find out about Maya and Jacob?
At the moment David has no idea that his girlfriend has been secretly canoodling with his underage adopted son.
But secrets – especially dark ones like child grooming – can’t stay hidden for very long in a village as small as Emmerdale.
Jacob has already confided in Ellis Champan that he’s been seeing an older woman and surely it’s only a matter of time before he tells either Liv or another friend what’s been going on between him and Maya.
Actress Louisa has revealed how she and her co-stars researched for the storyline.
She said: "We've had workshops with Barnados where we've met victims of abuse, and also had the chance to ask them their opinions.
"We've also spoken to social workers.
"I spoke to some friends of mine that are teachers and that position of power and responsibility - and how that can tip over.
"I've also been doing lots of reading online about the subject.
"People are horrified by the story - and I think that's good. People are finding it hard to watch."
