Emmerdale spoilers: Paddy Kirk confronts Bear Wolf after discovering he had an affair with his mother

PADDY Kirk is determined to get answers in Emmerdale next week as he finally comes face to face with the man who could be his real dad.

There’s a wrestling convention in town and Bear Wolf – the wrestler his mum had an affair with – is appearing.

A guilty Marlon Dingle calls in sick to the Woolpack so he can secretly attend the convention without Paddy.

He feels awful but is encouraged by his wife Jessie Grant that he’s doing the right thing. After Paddy – played by Dominic Brunt - discovers Marlon is sick, he pays him a visit to check up on him and feels betrayed when he spots the chef wearing a Bear Wolf t-shirt.

The penny drops and he realises Marlon was planning on attending the convention without him.

Feeling even worse than before Marlon soon convinces Paddy to attend the convention with him, suggesting he might get some answers.

With the support of Chas, a reluctant Paddy braces himself and heads off with Marlon to the convention.

But there’s disappointment in store.

When Marlon, Paddy, Jessie and Chas all arrive at the convention, they’re surprised to see it being ran from a working men’s club.

Paddy is nervous and soon has so go outside to get some air.

But while he’s out there he runs straight into Bear Wolf and a choked up Paddy tries to explain why he’s at the convention to the baffled wrestler.

But will he get the answers he’s looking for?

Hollywood actor Joshua Richards appears in the ITV soap as Bear Wolf. Speaking of his new role, he said: "I am delighted to be joining the cast of Emmerdale.

"Having been based in Yorkshire for most of my life, it's fantastic to now be filming there too.

"Bear Wolf is a great character and I am looking forward to seeing what's in store for him."
