What time is MasterChef 2019 final on BBC One?

The series final of MasterChef is TONIGHT (29 March 2019.)

You can catch it on BBC One at 9pm.

After returning to our screens for series 15 on February 11, the wait is over and we'll finally discover who this year's "Master chef" is.

And as per the regular episode, the final will last an hour.

Who left MasterChef last night?

Last night John Torode was left in tears as Geoff was sent home.

The judge's voice cracked as he had to announce the difficult decision, declaring that: "It's been absolutely joyous and I hate this part of the competition."

His sidekick Gregg Wallace stepped in to announce that Geoff was the one who didn't make the final.

Poor Geoff told the camera that he was ";gutted" by the decision but that the experience had pushed him out of his comfort zone in so many ways.

Who are the 2019 MasterChef finalists?

Series 15 came back with a bang and with it a whole kitchen full of cooks.

But now the final three chefs have been whittled down.

On March 28, 2019, the three finalists were revealed - and it is an all-female line-up

Jilly, Delia and Irini all made it through.

Jilly, 42, from Edinburgh, said: "There were lots of cooks who could have made it to this stage, but I was able to hold my nerve and have a bit of luck along the way, and here I am!"

Delia, 28, a police officer from Kent, admitted she was "extremely surprised" at how far she had come and felt she had "scraped through" on a couple of occasions.

Irini, a 62-year-old retired banker, said that the competition brought up "personal issues" for her, such as her "inability to accept praise".

Who are the judges?

John Torode and Gregg Wallace returned as the hosts and judges of the series.

The pair have fronted MasterChef since the show's beginning in 2005.

Winner Kenny Tutt edged out David Crichton and Nawamin Pinpathomrat in the 2018 final.
