CORONATION Street viewers have been left disgusted by sexist comments from Nick Tilsley and David Platt.
The brothers - who are played by actors Ben Price and Jack P. Shepherd in the ITV soap - decided they needed a stunning female barber to make their new barbershop a success in tonight's episode.
They assembled a group of attractive women to interview for the jobs on the hunt for someone "drop dead gorgeous" to bring the punters in.
Realising what they wanted to do was illegal, Nick insisted they simply needed to headhunt for the perfect employee.
He said they needed to find someone with the exact looks they were searching for and ignore the rest.
David replied: "What's that? Blonde hair and a big rack?"
Nick then joked the employee "doesn't have to have blonde hair."
He later added: "I can't help if men are shallow. If we’re going to run a business we have to give them what they want."
The comments horrified viewers at home who were disgusted by Nick and rape survivor David's behaviour.
One wrote: "I can’t believe Nick and David were basically objectifying women. What about gender equality?"
A second said: "Seriously could Nick & David literally BE anymore totally sexiest?"
Another added: "Bit sexist there Nick."
