HAYDEN Panettiere's on/off romance with Wladimir Klitschko was well documented in the press, before the pair split for good.
The former boxing champ - who shares a daughter with the Nashville actress - is now set to open about his life in Sky Original Klitschko: More Than a Fight.
Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko got together in 2009, meaning they were together for nine years.
Speaking about how they met, the actress told The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2013 that they first spotted each other at a party for a mutual friend in 2008.
Though she was in a relationship at the time, Hayden said she made the first move, and said to him, "You're huge," to which he responded, "You're tiny."
Hayden then started dating the former boxing champion officially a year after their first encounter.
They eventually became engaged and went onto have a daughter together.
Hayden gave birth to Kaya in December 2014, and has spoken previously about her battle with postnatal depression and how she was forced to return to rehab as a result.
The couple called it quits for the last time in 2018.
They had previously split in 2011, after being together for two years.
Releasing a statement at the time, Hayden said: "Even though we've decided splitting up is best for both of us, we have an amazing amount of love and respect for each other and remain very close friends.
"We had a great time together, but it's not that easy to manage a relationship between two continents."
While Wladimir said: "I have a lot of respect for Hayden as a person and as a friend, and I believe we'll keep our friendship even after the separation."
The pair then got back together in 2013, before breaking up for good five years later.
Although they never gave a reason for their break-up, the couple had endured a very on/off relationship.
In fact, according to sources during their relationship the pair quietly broke up and got back together on multiple occasions.
Although they haven't reunited again since their 2018 break-up, an insider told People at the time: "Don't assume Wlad is out of the picture because they aren't seen together.
"They respect each other and are still very attracted [to each other]. Don't rule this romance out."
However, the pair never got back together and Hayden was later in an on/off relationship with Brian Hickerson.
In February 2019, it was revealed that Hayden's daughter Kaya was being raised 6,000 miles away from her, in Wladimir's native Ukraine.
At the time the actress opened up about co-parenting with her ex, insisting that their relationship is still "respectful".
However, Hayden also said the situation was "challenging" with her having to travel back and forth to Europe.
In February 2022, Hayden revealed that her daughter was still living in Europe, but was "safe" and "not in Ukraine" following the the outbreak of war.
Speaking in February 2024, the TV star said that her daughter is already multilingual.
"Kaya speaks five languages," she told People. "English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, and she's now getting on with her French...she's a genius!"
Born on August 21, 1989, in Palisades, New York, Hayden is best known for her roles as cheerleader Claire Bennett in Heroes (2006-10) and as Juliette Barnes in Nashville (since 2012).
Hayden started out as a child star, and due to her acting ability has enjoyed a long career that has extended into her adult life.
She first appeared in a commercial at the age of 11 months
When she was just five years old she played Sarah Roberts in the American soap One Life To Live from 1994 to 1997.
Having shown a real gift for acting, at the age 10 she portrayed Sheryl Yoast in the Disney feature film Remember the Titans.
