Emmerdale spoilers: Billy Fletcher woos Tracy Metcalfe in shock new romance

THERE'S romance in the air for Tracy Metcalfe in Emmerdale next week as Billy Fletcher becomes determined to win her heart.

Tracy – who hasn’t had a love interest since splitting with David Metcalfe last year – is won over by newcomer Billy and the pair end up growing closer.

Billy – played by former Britain’s Got Talent finalist Jay Kontzle - arrived in the village over Christmas when he made a shock appearance at his mum Jessie Grant’s surprise wedding to Marlon Dingle after being released from prison.

But not everyone was pleased to see him. Aaron Dingle was horrified and started having panic attacks.

He then revealed that Billy was part of a gang than bullied him while he was in prison two years ago.

Billy’s half-brother Ellis Chapman was equally unimpressed to see Billy and the two have spent the past couple of months at each other’s throat –to Jessie’s despair.

Will Billy’s burgeoning romance with Tracy hotting up, will he be too busy to wind his brother up?

Tracy – who’s played by Kimberley Walsh’s sister Amy – deserves some luck in the love department after her marriage to David ended in heartache last year.

The shopkeeper cheated on his wife with his former-flame Leyla Harding, leaving Tracy devastated when she found out.

She thought he’d been playing away with Priya Sharma – mother of his daughter Amber – and confronted him but David accidentally let slip that it was Leyla he’d slept with.

A distraught Tracy even ended up aborting the baby she was pregnant with after realising David was never going to change his womanising ways.

Meanwhile David – who’s played by Matthew Wolfenden – wasted no time in moving on with Maya Stepney, who teaches his son Jacob Gallagher.

Maya is now secretly grooming schoolboy Jacob which will leave David broken when the twisted abuse is revealed.
