Is wrestler Bear Wolf Paddy Kirk’s dad in Emmerdale?

PADDY Kirk was thrown into confusion last month when his ex-wife Mandy Dingle arrived and revealed his dad might not be his dad.
She had a letter she found from Paddy’s mum to a famous wrestler called Bear Wolf. They’d been having an affair and the letter was dated nine months before Paddy’s birth. So is Bear Wolf Paddy’s real dad? Here’s all you need to know…
Is Bear Wolf Paddy’s dad in Emmerdale?
No one is sure yet but Paddy’s best friend Marlon Dingle definitely thinks he <could> be.
In fact he’s so sure he planned to confront Bear Wolf at a wrestling convention and find out if the wrestler had really had a fling with a woman from Hotten.
But Paddy had been quite adamant that he didn’t want to find out if Bear Wolf was his real dad, stating it would ruin his own childhood memories for him.
During a heart to heart with Marlon he confessed he was worried about finding out the truth because he wondered if his dad found out he wasn’t his kid which caused his depression.
Paddy’s dad was severely depressed and ended up taking his own life.
Marlon then tried to persuade him that finding out the truth could help him make sense of things.
In the end Paddy agreed to head to the convention with Marlon to find out the truth about his mum and Bear Wolf.
In a teaser clip of Tuesday's episode, Paddy can be seen walking outside the convention venue, but when he sees Bear stretching against a bar, he slows down to a complete halt.
The wrestler thinks Paddy is just a fan wanting an autograph, and urges him to walk on.
He says: "Not now son.
"If you want an autograph, which obviously you do - who wouldn't - you need to buy a ticket like the rest of them."
But Paddy simply looks on in shock, and is speechless for a moment.
Bear walks away from a tongue tied Paddy.
However, Paddy refuses to give up and follows Bear inside to quiz him about his personal life.
The sportsman - dressed in a fur gilet and denim tunic - askes: "You're not a punter are you? So what are you?"
The medical expert finally plucks up the courage to confront Bear.
He said: "Funny you should ask me that."
To which Bear replies: "Funny how?"
Paddy then poses the all-important question, that will leave viewers on the edge of their seat.
He says: "There's something I need to ask you."
Emmerdale fans will find out the truth about Bear in the near future.
