THE Greatest Dancer will return for a second series, it has been announced.

THE BBC have commissioned Simon Cowell's Syco to produce another edition of the show that features Cheryl, Oti Mabuse and Matthew Morrison as dance captains.

It is not yet known if Cheryl, Oti or Matthew will return to the show next year.

The second series of The Greatest Dancer will again feature a host of new dancing talent from across the world as they take to the stage to give performances to transform their lives.

Kate Phillips, Controller BBC Entertainment, said: "We wanted a big joyful show that celebrated extraordinary and memorable dancers of all ages and from all backgrounds and that’s exactly what we got.

"Everyone worked so hard on the show and we can’t wait to go again and see who will manage to open our magnificent mirror!"

The competition is open to anyone from seven years old with no upper age limit.
