Coronation Street spoilers: David Platt and Nick Tilsley scammed by rival salon owner as she destroys their barbershop dreams

Nick’s head is turned by an attractive women but she’s only got one thing on her mind – sabotage

NICK Tilsley is feeling a bit cock of the walk on Coronation Street at the moment but the wind is about to be taken out of his sails when he meets a mysterious woman called Rachel.

Nick – played by Ben Price in the ITV soap – left fans shocked when it was revealed he’d scammed £80k out of his gran Audrey Roberts while she was grieving the death of her partner Lewis Archer.

Now he and half-brother David Platt are opening a barbershop with the ill-gotten gains.

But it looks like it won’t be smooth sailing for the brothers as they prepare for their grand opening when an attractive woman from a nearby salon pops in.

Nick is flirtatious with the sexy stranger, but is left floored when she reveals her name is Rachel, the owner of a rival salon and she fully intends to put him and David out of business.

And she’s not bluffing either.

When the day of the opening comes round, Andrea tells Nick he’s delivered all the fliers but they’re left shocked when they see how many people are at the door.

All becomes clear though when they notice a typo on the fliers means they have to give everyone £1 haircuts.

Things get even worse when one client shows them blood on his neck. He’s snapped by the Weatherfield Gazette and claims that David – Jack P Shepherd - cut him while giving him a shave.

It’s not long before the lads realise who’s behind everything and that Rachel very much meant what she said about sabotaging the barbers.

They worry that the opening has been a disaster as the waiting customers start getting angry and footballer Tommy Orpington threatens to leave.

Is their business over before it’s even begun?
