Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall moans gruelling FOUR hour workout leaves him with painful blisters on weight loss mission
The actor showed off a painful-looking blood blister after working out for four hours
CORONATION Street’s Alan Halsall revealed the painful results his gruelling four-hour workouts are having on his body as he continues his weight loss journey.
The actor, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, has been hitting the gym hard since splitting from his wife, Lucy-Jo Hudson, last year.
Posting the painful-looking photo of his heel to his Instagram Stories, Alan revealed to fans that he had completed a mammoth training session that included one hour of football and three hours of badminton.
Clearly pushing himself, the rigorous exercise had resulted in quite a large blood blister on Alan’s heel.
The father-of-one has been on a health kick since last year and earlier this month the Sun Online revealed Alan had be burning more than 4,000 calories during his workouts.
The results of his exercise regime have been clear, as he has shed a noticeable amount of weight and changed his overall body shape.
Back in September, the 36-year-old wowed fans with his dramatic transformation while on holiday in Ibiza.
Sharing a photo of himself wearing just a pair of red swimming trunks, the soap star held up a cup of beer with a massive grin on his face.
Showing off his toned abs after his shock weight loss, the snap surprised Alan's fans - who commented on how "hot" he looked at the time.
Alan previously admitted that he had transformed his body after spending "all day" at the gym, three days a week.
He said: "I’ve had a PT [personal trainer] for about four/five months.
"I’ve been coming to the gym for a few years now.
"I have a pre-workout meal, I work out, then I have a post-workout meal or a swim and a steam.
"I can come here and learn my lines. You can pretty much spend the day here."
Alan split from his co-star wife, Lucy-Jo, in May last year - just months after they had moved into a new family home with their daughter, five-year-old Sienna-Rae.
The met on the Manchester soap set and started dating in 2005.
They married in 2009 and briefly split in 2016 before announcing their divorce last year.
Alan recently told followers that he is currently single during an Instagram Q&A, with Lucy-Jo announcing her new relationship with panto star Lewis Devine - who'd become a close friend of Alan's - just eight weeks after she and Alan confirmed their split.
